Blackberry Mango Kombucha Smoothie

Pin on Pinterest Blackberry Mango Kombucha Smoothie

Slightly sweet, super creamy, and impeccably good!

It’s all too easy to get into ruts, especially when things are busy. And all too convenient to grab something pre-made or processed. That’s why we love how quick and easy making a smoothie can be – just grab your favorite fruits or vegetables you have and toss them into the blender. Within minutes, you’ll end up with something that tastes good and is worlds better than anything that you can get in a package!

We kept this recipe very simple and straightforward and used kombucha as our liquid base to add a probiotic and postbiotic punch (you can do this with any smoothie to amp up the benefits!). If you don’t have blackberries or mango on-hand, consider swapping them for whatever fresh or frozen fruit you have access to.

Jam-packed with nutritious ingredients:

Kombucha: Contains live and active digestive enzymes, probiotics and postbiotics for a happy, healthy gut.

Lemon: Antibacterial properties. High vitamin C content. Lemon boosts digestion and is alkalizing and detoxifying.

Mango and Blackberries: High in vitamin C and beta-carotene, which can help boost the immune system. Contains prebiotic dietary fiber, which helps feed good bacteria in the gut.

Banana: Contains fiber, potassium, folate, and antioxidants, such as vitamin C

INGREDIENTS

1 ¼ cups of kombucha (we recommend our Water Kombucha made with blueberry and elderberry)

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 cup of frozen blackberries

½ - 1 frozen banana (a whole banana will make your smoothie a bit larger or more filling)

1 cup of mango chunks, fresh or frozen

METHOD

  1. Add all of the above ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness, if desired.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
